The heritage of the DEFA

The Book

On the 10th anniversary of the DEFA-Foundation, the book "Das Erbe der DEFA – Die fast unendliche Geschichte einer Stiftungsgründung" (engl.: "The heritage of the DEFA - The nearly never ending story of a foundation formation") by the media scholar Stefanie Eckert has been published. Up to that point, the sometimes adventurous history of the formation of the DEFA-Foundation has not been described in such a coherent and profound way, while also introducing its essential protagonists. In addition to realized models and unrealized concepts, the legal preconditions, conflicts and sensitivities are pointed out and reflected upon.
