Short Summary (English)

The children Toni and Rita are delirious with joy: The ten-year-old and his little sister are allowed to go by train to Bamsdorf to visit their grandparents. Since Toni is known for his scattiness, he has to promise his mother to keep a sharp eye on his sister. However, his mother’s worst fears come true: Toni gets off at the wrong train station while little Rita remains seated and is forced to continue the trip on her own. With that, a turbulent and adventurous journey starts for the siblings. In the end, they reunite and spend untroubled days at their grandparents.
