Short Summary (English)
This film reveres the great artiste and political campaigner Paul Robeson. At the height of his fame and skill Robeson is forced to end his career. It is the time of the Cold War and an anti-Communist hysteria. Biographical notes on the son of a former slave, and world renowned actor and singer, explain his uncompromising position at this time.
